I have sent several cases to a lab requesting a wax up. (A large high end cosmetic lab that teaches courses etc on full mouth restorations etc….) I have taken a face bow record and mounted the case myself (as learned in the occlusion workshop ) The first case I received back, they had remounted the case (with duplicate casts) so they could use a split cast process to do the wax up. Several of the cases I have sent since then they have given me significant push back because it doesn't fit their processe of the split cast technique.. I recently sent a case for them to duplicate the mounting so I can work on the occlusion myself before sending it back for a final wax up. Again they are pushing back on the mounting requesting more space for the 'split cast' process they need. The sent me the following picture of my mounting with drawings on the photo of what they want. The also sent some other photos with the following markings. I have a couple of questions on how to get around this

Can I change the method I take the facebow to put the model in a better place for them and still have the accuracy I need. (is this operator error?)
How much of a difference does it make if they move the mounting to an arbitrary location with the use of photos (I did have a visiting faculty at the restoring the edentulous arch workshop tell me once he uses some mounting jig and photos to mount his cases on a stratus articulator, referencing studies that say it is as good as using a facebow)
Is it time to use a different lab? What do I do from here? This is the only difficulty I have had with the lab and I like using a local lab where I can visit them and develop an in person relationship with the lab technician that is going to be doing my case.

I would welcome any help on this and any advise from those that have more experience or knowledge than I do.
